It is an absolute pleasure and joy to announce that we have already planted one million trees, in the journey we have been on as a brand and a company.
Climate change is a reality, and today, the trees we plant are part of our social conscience.
They not only help to combat global warming, but also provide various environmental services such as food and shelter for native fauna, which in turn prevent erosion of the landscape. They also act against global warming by absorbing CO2, a greenhouse gas, from the air.
It is a great long-term objective that we have achieved with great effort every day. It is a reality that by planting all these trees, we in turn offer fair employment to people living in impoverished communities, who become transformative agents of global forest restoration.
Eden's global restoration network, the project we are funding, is creating livelihoods for many, many people living in extreme poverty, empowering them to restore and protect forests on a large scale.
